Alpine Retreat is on Badrinath Marg in Tapovan, the upriver side of Rishikesh. Here are the usual ways to reach us. Times are approximate and depend on traffic.
From Delhi
Rishikesh is roughly 240 km from Delhi, about six to seven hours by road. Overnight and day buses run from Delhi’s ISBT Kashmere Gate. Trains run to Haridwar and to Yog Nagari Rishikesh station, from where a taxi or auto brings you to Tapovan.
From Dehradun
Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is the nearest airport, about an hour from us by road. Prepaid taxis are available at the airport.
From Haridwar
Haridwar is about an hour away by road. Taxis and shared autos run between the two towns through the day.
Arriving
Check-in is from 1:00 PM and reception is open around the clock, so late arrivals are fine. Parking is available at the property. Send us your arrival time on WhatsApp and we’ll be ready for you. Once you’ve settled in, here’s how to spend your first evening in Tapovan.
