Kedarnath Yatra from Rishikesh

Drive along the Alaknanda and Mandakini valleys to Guptkashi, trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath for darshan, and return to Rishikesh.

Day-by-day plan

1. Day 1

   Rishikesh to Guptkashi

   Early start along the Ganga. Stop at Devprayag and Rudraprayag, reaching Guptkashi or Sitapur by evening.

2. Day 2

   Trek to Kedarnath

   Drive to Sonprayag, shared jeep to Gaurikund and trek (or pony) to Kedarnath. Evening aarti and overnight near the temple.

3. Day 3

   Darshan & trek down

   Early morning darshan, then trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi.

4. Day 4

   Guptkashi to Rishikesh

   Drive back to Rishikesh and check in at Alpine Retreat, Tapovan.

5. Day 5

   Departure

   Breakfast and departure.
