Day-by-day plan

1. Day 1

   Rishikesh to Joshimath

   Drive up the Alaknanda valley to Joshimath.

2. Day 2

   Auli

   Drive up to Auli. Snow play or a beginner ski lesson, and sunset over Nanda Devi.

3. Day 3

   Gorson Bugyal

   Walk to the Gorson Bugyal meadow, afternoon at leisure in Auli.

4. Day 4

   Back to Rishikesh

   Drive back down to Rishikesh. Overnight at Alpine Retreat, Tapovan.

5. Day 5

   Departure

   Breakfast and departure.
